Welcome to our Pediatric Unit at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where expert care meets compassionate service.
With an 8-bed secure facility overseen by seasoned nurses and pediatric hospitalists, your child's health is our top priority. Pediatric hospitalists specialize in the care of hospitalized infants and children (up to age 18) and provide 24-hour, seven-days-a-week coverage.
The Pediatric Unit has 4 private and 2 semi-private rooms with central monitoring capabilities and a playroom with games and toys to ensure a stress-free environment. As a parent, you're an integral part of your child's care and we welcome you to stay by your child's side throughout their stay, as well as actively participate in our family-centered rounds.

We prioritize teamwork, partnering closely with your child's Pediatric Provider and top specialists from Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to ensure seamless and comprehensive care. Your care team may include: respiratory therapists, dieticians, case managers, chaplains, lactation consultants, and physical/occupational therapists.
