Southern New Hampshire Health Names Michael Kleinschmidt as Chief Operating Officer

Southern New Hampshire Health is pleased to announce that Michael Kleinschmidt has been selected to serve as chief operating officer. Michael was selected from a nationwide search. Michael began his tenure in this role on December 30, 2024.

He will be integral to delivering on our mission, and supporting our culture that makes Southern New Hampshire Health a trusted place to give and receive care,” said Colin McHugh, president and CEO of Southern NH Health.

Michael joins Southern NH Health from Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where he was serving as chief operating officer. Michael previously held several other leadership roles with Tower Health, including vice president of operations. He built his career with a focus on innovation, strategic growth, patient-centered experience, enhancing workflows and efficiency, and increasing patient access to care.

Michael earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and his Master of Business Administration – Healthcare Management from West Texas A&M University.
