Our Gratitude During Hospital Week 2023

We are pleased to celebrate National Hospital Week from May 7 – 13. This is another chance for us to stop and recognize how our Southern NH Medical Center staff and providers make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals in our communities.

The quality of care that you provide, and your dedication to a patient-centered approach is recognized and appreciated by our patients. We know this to be true, and perhaps hearing it from our patients will bring it home even more. Here are just a few examples of what our patients say:

“The staff at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and the doctors, could not have done anything better than they did. I'm extremely happy with what I went through. I was very anxious about the procedure and they helped me all the way through it. And I thank all of them.”

“The entire staff was absolutely amazing - each one of our nurses was phenomenal! They were kind, caring, genuine, and made me feel like their priority. My husband and I are both grateful for the amazing nurses and providers we saw during our stay at Southern who helped bring our precious baby boy into this world.”

“I am pleased to say this one of the best visits I've had at Southern. My nurse was absolutely wonderful. She was so nice and made both my wife and me laugh. The doctor was extremely thorough and I really felt like he listened to what I was saying. I really appreciated how wonderful they both were.”

“I was a nervous patient. The waiting room was a quiet oasis from the hospital. The preop area was bustling but in no way anxiety-inducing. I had calming and competent techs and nurses at every turn. I had a dedicated team just for me (it appeared to be so, anyway). I felt instantly at ease with them all. I have other procedures that I have been putting off due to nerves, but this experience has put me at ease, and I am planning to get those procedures done soon. Thank you.”

“The nurses and the doctor who treated me were exceptional. I also spent time on the 4th floor Cardiac Care unit the previous week and they also were terrific. I can’t imagine going to any other hospital for care.”
Thank you for everything you do to improve the health and wellbeing of our community and thank you for being an amazing team that we’re proud of every day.

Happy Hospital Week!

Sincerely,

Colin McHugh, President and CEO, Southern New Hampshire Health

Joseph Leahy, DO, Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center

Sue Santana, Vice President of Patient Care Services, Chief Nursing Officer
