The first Legacy Trust Golf Classic was a huge success! Held on Monday, May 13, at the beautiful Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH, the event saw 132 golfers and numerous volunteers come together for a day of fun, competition, and camaraderie.
Thanks to our generous sponsors and participants, we met our fundraising goal! The proceeds will be used to purchase additional Hercules Patient Repositioners for Southern NH Medical Center, significantly improving patient care and provider health safety.
Southern NH Health Director of Philanthropy Paula Taylor says, “This was the inaugural event for Legacy Trust, the philanthropy program at Southern NH Health. I am thankful to the many generous sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made this day possible and helped raise funds to improve patient care.”
The weather was perfect, and the competition was fierce, with golfers bringing their A-game to the greens. Off the course, silent auction and raffle prizes added an extra layer of excitement, keeping everyone engaged and enthusiastic. Prizes included a Mohegan Sun golf weekend, two tickets to Tom Brady’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and four tickets to a Boston Red Sox game.
We look forward to continuing this tradition and making a positive impact in our community through the Legacy Trust of Southern NH Health.
