Emily Mackey, MD
Emily Mackey, MD joins Foundation Surgery with over five years of experience. Dr. Mackey earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2018 from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Mackey recently completed an advanced GI minimally invasive surgery fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA.
In addition to general surgery, she has a special interest in the foregut – which is the upper part of the digestive tract including the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver and bile ducts – and in bariatric surgery, which are surgical procedures to manage obesity-related conditions.
When not at work, Dr. Mackey enjoys playing the violin, cooking, and being outdoors hiking and skiing.
