At Southern New Hampshire Health, we believe that a strong start leads to a successful journey. To ensure our new employees feel welcome and a part of our community, Human Resources hosts a monthly New Hire Luncheon. This event provides an opportunity for new staff members to interact with senior leadership and learn more about our vision, mission, and goals.

Building a Strong Foundation

The New Hire Luncheon is more than just an informational meeting. It’s a chance for new employees to connect with the heart of our organization. Executive director of human resources Ann Marie Giacalone emphasizes, “This is an effective and fun way to share our culture with new employees and welcome them to our community.”

By engaging with senior leaders, new hires gain valuable insights into the values and goals that drive our health system. This foundational knowledge helps them understand how their roles contribute to our overall mission. It’s an important step in building a cohesive team dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients and community.

Julianne Tashro, new employee and office coordinator for Downtown Medical Associates/Main Street Pediatrics, says, “One cannot help but get a good feeling about becoming a part of such an amazing, welcoming, and informative group. This meaningful approach gave me a sense of togetherness and reminded me that we are all part of one group. I enjoyed my experience during the New Hire Luncheon, and I look forward to many more experiences with Southern New Hampshire Health.”
