Dress in Blue on March 4th to Raise Awareness About Colorectal Cancer

On Friday, March 4th, help to bring attention to National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month by joining Dress in Blue Day.

In February 2000, then President Bill Clinton officially declared March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Since then, it has grown with thousands of patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates throughout the country joining together to spread awareness about prevention. By wearing blue on March 4th, you are helping to support the work to end this preventable disease, as well as honor all who are impacted by colorectal cancer.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, colonoscopies have been delayed or missed all together. The Colorectal Cancer Alliance estimates that 151,030 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2022. The organization also estimates that 52,580 people will die from the disease this year. Help us sound the alarm and raise awareness about colonoscopies, an important life-saving measure.

If you wear blue on Friday, March 4th, snap a photo and send it to Marketing@SolutionHealth.org to be considered for our social media accounts! Please also consider posting your photo on your own social media accounts with the tag #DressInBlueDay to help raise awareness.
