About Our Practice
Foundation Neurosurgery is the region’s premier comprehensive center of excellence for spine treatment, providing both surgical and nonsurgical care for trauma, tumors, congenital disorders, and other deformities and conditions of the neck, spine, skull and brain.
Our team, including neurosurgeons Tung Nguyen, MD, Katharine Cronk, MD, Ph.D., and Michael Horgan, M.D., treats each patient with respect and as a partner in care. We are committed to working with you to make healthcare decisions based on your needs, goals, and the best available scientific evidence. We listen carefully and perform a meticulous neurological exam to determine the best treatment options, which may or may not include surgery.
When surgery is necessary, you can rest assured that you or your loved one receives the highest quality care available. Our surgeons are trained in specialized treatments including cervical artificial disc replacement using the Mobi-C® Cervical Discs, coflex® Interlaminar Stabilization® devices for spinal stenosis, and minimally invasive techniques. They are also among the only surgeons in New England providing radiation-free 7D Machine-vision Image Guided Surgery technology and were the first in the region utilizing it.
At Foundation Neurosurgery, we are dedicated to providing you with the most experienced, individualized, and compassionate care available. Our neurosurgeons have the advanced training and experience to assess, diagnose, and treat your neurosurgical injury or condition and help you get your life back.
