Cancer Care

Peace of mind is part of our treatment plan.

Our partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) brings world-class care to you. That means best practices, new treatments, and peace of mind. Most, if not all, of your care happens here – with a team of experts you know and trust.  When it’s best for you, we’ll coordinate care at Mass General, and then continue treatment at SNHH as soon as possible.

Preventing Cancer >

Quality Care

Medical oncologists at Foundation Hematology/Oncology coordinate a cancer-fighting team that includes radiation oncologists; surgeons; radiologists; pathologists; nurses; rehabilitation therapists; nutrition and genetic counselors; and social workers among others.

Diagnosing Cancer

If we suspect cancer, we need a quick and accurate diagnosis, and staging, for successful treatment. We may use laboratory tests, advanced imaging, such as our 64-slice CT and PET scanners, or biopsy, a diagnostic surgical procedure.

Second Opinions

We offer second opinions at Southern New Hampshire Health or through our clinical partner, Massachusetts General Hospital. Thoracic oncologists from MGH, for example, host several clinics per month at SNHH. These doctors, specialists who treat lung and chest cancer, review your diagnosis and treatment plan.
