Physical Therapy Specialty Programs

Pelvic Floor/Incontinence Program

This program is designed to help increase bladder and muscle control, as well as address any issues with pelvic pain or voiding. A treatment plan will be established based on your specific needs. Therapy typically incolves 6-10 visits over a 2-3 month period of time.

Lymphedema Management

Our Lymphedema Program helps reduce the swelling in arms and legs that can happen after cancer surgery or treatment. We’ll help you improve your flexibility and range of motion so you can return to your daily activities, ease your pain and discomfort and prevent infections and other complications.

Osteoporosis Program

Osteoporosis (bone thinning) can increase your risk for fractures of the hip, spine, and wrist. Our program helps reduce your risk of falls and prevent injuries. Our goal is to reduce your pain and improve strength and balance. We’ll evaluate your body and pain level before creating a treatment plan that includes exercises and education.

Vestibular (Balance) Program

Our vestibular therapists help you recover from symptoms that may include dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and feeling like you’re off balance or falling. After we determine the cause, we design a care plan that’s right for you. We treat vertigo, labyrinthitis, Meniere’s disease, and other conditions. Our goal: for you to return, symptom-free, to your normal activities and lifestyle.

Wound Care Program

Our skilled and dedicated team of physical therapists cares for wounds caused by injury, illness, burns, or surgeries. Services include foot screening if you have diabetes or other conditions; ultrasound and electric stimulation to promote healing; compression therapy to control swelling; and wound cleaning, dressing and debridement (removing dead tissue).

Dry Needling for Muscle Pain

Our physical therapists are pleased to offer dry needling, a new service to treat pain and improve movement and range of motion. Dry needling releases muscle tension by causing tight muscles to twitch (cramp) and relax. Some Doctors believe it may also increase blood flow or spark nerve responses that change how a person registers pain. It can be used to treat numerous injuries and conditions including neck, shoulder, hip, heel and back pain, shin splints, migraines and tension headaches, and movement disorders after a stroke. You will need a referral from your provider or specialist before you can make an appointment for dry needling.
