Behavioral Health - Southern New Hampshire Health

We understand the important connection between physical, mental, and emotional well-being and have the resources to support our community through inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, from emergency care, to intensive outpatient programs. Many of our Primary Care practices have Behavioral Health specialists as members of the care team to assure collaboration and communication with patients' primary care provider.

Emergency Behavioral Health Services

If you or someone you know needs immediate help with a personal or psychiatric crisis, call the Acute Community Crisis Evaluation Service System (ACCESS) at (603) 577-2728 or come directly to the Emergency Department. ACCESS provides crisis evaluations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learn more about ACCESS.

Inpatient Behavioral Health

Our multidisciplinary inpatient team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and other behavioral health professionals who will work with you to develop a treatment plan so that you can return to your daily life. Partial Hospitalization Program

Offers intensive short-term group therapy for individuals who struggle with mood and/or anxiety disorders. Our goal is to empower participants to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their illness. Learn more about our Partial Hospitalization Program.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Designed for individuals struggling with substance misuse issues. It allows patients to attend sessions and receive treatment while living in the comfort of their own home and continuing to work in the community. Our goal of this program is to help patients establish a foundation for life-long sobriety in a safe and supportive group environment. Learn more about our Intensive Outpatient Program.

Outpatient Behavioral Health

We offer individual counseling by behavioral health counselors at Foundation Counseling and Wellness in addition to our primary care practices throughout the greater Nashua area. Call (603) 262-9405 to be referred to one of our providers.

We also provide comprehensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment at the Center for Recovery Management at Nashua. Treatment plans include medication assisted treatment (MAT), counseling, and recovery support. Call (603) 402-2070 to schedule an appointment. A referral is not required.
