Your joint replacement team
Whether your pain is because of a chronic injury, a degenerative condition or a fracture, your recommended treatment option may be a joint replacement.
Nearly any joint in the body can be replaced with a fully functioning artificial implant, though the most common replacements are of the hip, knee or shoulder.
Our orthopedic specialists have extensive training and experience in joint replacement surgeries - including total joint replacements, osteotomies, partial replacements and anterior approach surgeries to help repair cartilage defects.
Our joint replacement program offers advanced surgical options - including robotic-assisted surgeries using the Stryker’s MakoⓇ Robotic Surgical System.
For qualifying patients, we also offer the option for same-day joint replacement surgery.
When surgery may be an option
You may be a candidate for joint surgery if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Severe joint pain
- Pain in the joint that keeps you awake at night
- Joint discomfort preventing you from participating in recreational activities
- Joint pain limiting your ability to do everyday necessary functions, such as climbing stairs or standing
- More conservative treatment methods, like exercise or therapy, have been tried without success
If joint pain is making your everyday tasks difficult, it may be time to consider a joint replacement.
