Maternity, Obstetrics & Midwifery

Pregnancy can be a very exciting time, but you can also have a lot of questions. We’re here to listen, and to address your concerns with respect and privacy. Good prenatal care is important. There are things you need to do, such as eat well, avoid certain medications, and get plenty of rest. Regular visits with your healthcare provider can keep you on track.

You can see a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, a family doctor, a nurse practitioner, or a certified nurse midwife for care. Nurse midwives have special training – certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives – to care for you during pregnancy and childbirth.

Our specialists can also care for you if you have health problems before pregnancy, like diabetes or high blood pressure. Even if you don’t have any issues, it’s good to talk with us before you start a family. We can help you prepare, to be sure you have a healthy pregnancy, and a healthy baby.
