A graduate of New York Medical College with a Doctor of Medicine degree, Dr. Duff completed his pediatric residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. He received his B.S. in Biology from Emmanuel College in Boston.
“Working with children and their families is so enriching,” he says. “For me, it’s all about becoming a part of their family in a sense, feeling that connection and making sure everybody feels a sense of trust and belonging with the practice.”
Dr. Duff, enjoys taking care of children of all ages, noting particular interests in asthma and allergies and children and adolescent health.
“In medicine, particularly with children, it can be difficult and scary for them sometimes to understand what is going on,” he says. “Part of my role as a pediatrician is being able to make connections and being able to explain those things in not-so-scary terms and I love that.”
Dr. Duff says the most rewarding part about practicing as a pediatrician is being able to work with children and their families. “Getting to see them, just brightens my day,” he says.
When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Duff enjoys spending time with his children and his wife, who shares his passion for baking and cooking. Dr. Duff says he’s looking forward to hiking and exploring the scenic state of New Hampshire.
