About Taylor K. Mosher, APRN-FNP

Taylor Mosher, a board-certified nurse practitioner, earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. She is a member of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Obesity Medicine Association.

As a nurse practitioner at Southern New Hampshire Weight Management, Ms. Mosher helps patients lose weight through nutrition management, exercise, and, if needed, medications. She loves helping patients reverse or stabilize chronic diseases. She explains, “As humans, we are meant to move, eat whole foods, and get out in the sun!”

Ms. Mosher sees the ideal patient/provider relationship as one of shared decision-making. She always tells her patients, “I can tell you what to do, but I can’t go home with you, so you need to feel comfortable with the plan and believe it’s something you can follow.”

As a 20-year-old, Ms. Mosher was diagnosed with celiac disease. Being told that she could never eat gluten again at such a young age was really challenging. This experience, however, has helped her better empathize with her patients as they discuss making lifestyle changes.

When not at work, Ms. Mosher enjoys being a mom to her three lovely children. They walk, bike, hike, go to the park, boat, swim, or just play in the driveway with chalk and bubbles. In her spare time away from the kids, she enjoys reading and running.
