We are working under extraordinary circumstances to provide the best care possible for our patients. Below are messages of appreciation submitted by Southern New Hampshire Health staff and providers recognizing their colleagues for their incredible efforts.
Thank you to all who shared their heartfelt thank you messages! We will continue to update this post as we receive additional submissions so make sure to check in regularly!

"I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge my colleagues at FMP Immediate Care. Specifically our nursing staff at Hudson who come in to work on their days off to help out so we can continue to provide exceptional care. We have nurses performing monoclonal antibody infusions and often forfeit their day of rest to do so for the sake of caring for our patients. They spend extended periods of time with our covid patients to make sure that they get the treatment they need to feel better as soon as possible. My hat goes off to all of my coworkers. I am grateful to be part of this amazing team. "

"It's been wonderful to work along side such amazing people during our drive through COVID and Influenza vaccination clinics. Everyone involved always came with smiles on their faces, positive attitudes, and clinical expertise to get our community vaccinated. A big thank you to all the individuals that volunteered to work weekends and give up their free time to get these clinics accomplished!"

"To my friends in immediate care, emergency, and the hospital: I know it must be particularly frustrating to care of those very sick with COVID who did not get vaccinated. Thank you for doing this; this takes a lot of courage and fortitude."

"Jenny, a social worker for SNHH ICU has been amazing in helping to care for a close friend in a very challenging situation. Thank you for your care and compassion."

"Sarah Rooney, APRN you are amazing!!! Thank you for providing our hospitalized patients with such wonderful care!!! We truly appreciate all you do!!!"

"ER Dr. Nicola Dirito. I was working and needed to check in for chest pressure. Dr. Dirito diagnosed me (it happened to be my birthday 11/5/21) with Covid and Pneumonia. Dr. Dirito gave me a in depth, thorough exam and was very compassionate. As an employee, you expect great treatment, however, I believe that Dr. Dirito did not know I was an employee. I appreciate her professionalism and kindness. Thank you."

"On behalf of the Food, Nutrition and Environmental Services teams, I would like to express how appreciative we are of our caring and hard working team of clinicians, providers, and ancillary support staff. We are inspired by the work you do for our community and we are honored to serve you!"
"I also want to take this opportunity to express how extremely grateful I am for our Food, Nutrition and Environmental Services staff. Without their efforts, the SNHH mission cannot be accomplished. These unsung hero's sustaining our frontline clinical staff and providers have given so much of themselves to support exceptional care we are able to provide as an organization and I am proud to serve along side each of them."

"I'd like to give a heartfelt shoutout to my fellow scientists and Micro supervisor, Leann Hamilton. They have been performing endless Covid testing for the hospital and local community for the entire pandemic dealing with PPE shortages, staffing shortages, and reagent shortages. They have worked extra hours, long shifts, come in at all hours and handled numerous priority requests and critical situations with speed and compassion. They have incorporated additional testing and various changing methods and test codes in addition to their day to day duties and it is an incredible feat that should be acknowledged and rewarded. Leann has been covering benchwork and weekends in addition to her supervisory duties all while advocating for her staff and coordinating numerous "behind the scenes" tasks to ensure we are able to provide great care and stay safe through it all. These folks deserve huge recognition for their role in keeping our frontline staff informed of their patients Covid status and there endless support to the hospital and the community."

"Michele Fetzner, CCC-SLP, my colleague in Speech and Language Pathology, has continued to provide high quality care to all of our inpatients, throughout this entire pandemic, without any reluctance to work with COVID-19 patients, even when vaccines were not yet available. She has exhibited what so many of our inpatient rehabilitation staff continue to exhibit... courage, kindness, and professionalism, while providing quality services for the regions' most acutely ill patients."
