Today, please join us in taking a moment to specifically thank and appreciate our physicians by marking National Doctors’ Day. Each year on March 30
th, National Doctors’ Day is held to appreciate the work of physicians who dedicate their expertise, energy, and care to save and improve the lives of patients. While we truly appreciate our physicians every day of the year, today we set aside time to specifically recognize these dedicated members of our Southern New Hampshire Health community.
The resolve and commitment of our Southern New Hampshire Health doctors have never been more clear than while serving on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Physicians in every Foundation practice, and throughout Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, flexed to serve the needs of our community, and they continue to do so. While others were socially distancing, our physicians were stepping forward. Standing strong together, they made an immediate and lasting impact on the lives and wellbeing of our patients and their families.
Although COVID cases have dropped and the patient care we are providing is now more familiar and predictable, the care and meaning provided by our physicians remains profound. Today, and every day, we are deeply proud of our physicians. We honor their work. We appreciate their commitment. On behalf of the community and our organization, we are all immensely grateful.
When you see your physician colleagues today, and for the days and weeks beyond, please remember to thank them for their incredible work. Offer a smile to remind them they are appreciated. Our Southern New Hampshire Health community is strong because we lift each other up.
Thank you for everything that you do.
Sincerely,
Tom Wilhelmsen
