Throughout the year, the SolutionHealth Human Resources Activities Committee organizes different initiatives, including raising money for the Walk for Hope, Gift of Giving, and many others to support our communities in both Manchester and Nashua. Jason Elliott, SolutionHealth’s Chief Human Resources Officer, on the team’s commitment to this work, “I’ve been so impressed and proud of what the team has done. It’s a great example of who we are and the team’s commitment to the organization and serving our communities. And this is a fantastic way to create community and engagement within the department”.
Build a Bike
During the SolutionHealth Human Resources retreat in April of 2023, the team built eight bikes together and distributed them to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua.
Walk for Hope Team
Each year, Human Resources forms a team for the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot’s Walk for Hope. Together the team raises money for the cancer center and participates in the walk. In 2023, the SolutionHealth Human Resources team, called The HR – Hope Ready Team, raised $714 for cancer care services at The Elliot.

Pack-a-Pack
In August of 2023, the Human Resources team filled 60 backpacks for children and families who cannot afford school supplies. 30 backpacks were donated to Manchester elementary schools and teachers and the other 30 backpacks were delivered to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua and the Nashua DCYF office to be distributed to students who needed them.
Gift of Giving
Each holiday season, the Human Resources teams at both Manchester and Nashua campuses organize the Gift of Giving program to sponsor families in need.
In 2023, 38 different departments from Southern NH Health filled six cars to the brim with presents for 48 children and delivered them to the Nashua DCYF office.
At The Elliot, the Gift of Giving is organized to help families employed by The Elliot and SolutionHealth during the holidays. In 2023, 46 departments and three individuals supported 55 families, including 120 children.
Cancer Center Food Drive
Most recently the Human Resources Activities Committee organized food drives for the Cancer Centers at both The Elliot and Southern NH Health. Both Cancer Centers have food pantries that are available for patients to use while they are going through treatment. The entire Human Resources department was involved on both campuses and donations were divided and delivered to both Cancer Centers.
Olivia Vincent, Human Resources Business Partner, who recently joined the Human Resources Department says “I had just joined Human Resources and attended the retreat where we built the bikes. Seeing those kids come in and get their new bikes was priceless and so impactful. A company’s commitment to this type of volunteerism and supporting those in need is so important to me and my engagement. After that, I knew I had to join the Human Resources Activities Committee to contribute to this work”.
Thank you, to all of our amazing SolutionHealth Human Resources employees and the Human Resources Activities Committee for organizing these great initiatives to support our communities!
