Staying healthy here in the Gate City is always of importance, and Audra Burns, director of community relations at Southern New Hampshire Health, is sharing a key event that might interest you.
In case you didn’t know, March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
On Tuesday, March 27, from 10 to 11a.m., registered nurses Bethany St. Onge and Jessica McLavey from Southern New Hampshire Health’s Endoscopy Department will present ‘Coffee and Conversation About Colon Health.’
Audra tells me that the free presentation at the Nashua Senior Center, 70 Temple St., will give behind the scenes information about the screening options, procedures and an opportunity to view some of the equipment. Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be served.
It’s always helpful going into a treatment with enough background knowledge to put your mind at ease. Everyone has questions, and it’s great when professionals involved with a medical procedure are available to answer them in a relaxed setting.
The presentation is open to the public.
All you have to do is register for the event at
